Hello, I’m Lauren.

I create bespoke, sensitive and beautiful celebration of life and memorial ceremonies that truly celebrate your loved one, while gently acknowledging your loss.

As a professionally trained Funeral Celebrant, I work closely with families to create a fully personalised ceremony that honours a life lived. I understand that every person is unique, and that their farewell should reflect their personality, values and legacy.

There is no single “right” way to say goodbye. I will meet with you personally to listen to your memories, understand your loved one’s story, and explore your wishes, ensuring the ceremony feels exactly right for you and your family.

You will have the opportunity to review the ceremony in advance, and I will provide you with a full written copy to keep afterwards.

I am a compassionate listener and will guide you gently through the choices available, liaising with your funeral director and venue team to ensure everything runs smoothly and with care.

Together, we will create a heartfelt ceremony that captures the essence of your loved one and tells the beautiful story of their life - through meaningful tributes, carefully chosen readings or poems, and words that feel authentic, comforting and fitting.

A bit about me….

I’m a mum of four, living in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire with my husband and our wonderfully busy family. Our home is about to become even livelier, as we’re excitedly preparing to welcome a cockerpoo puppy who will soon be joining us.

Before becoming a parent, I worked in IT Service Delivery as a Project Manager. When my children were older and I returned to work, I felt drawn in a new direction, working as a parish administrator and retraining as a Civil Celebrant. This role is one I feel deeply passionate about. It is a true honour and privilege to support families, helping them create a meaningful and personal farewell that truly reflects the life of their loved one.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, and going for a run - preferably when it’s neither cold nor raining! I’m an avid reader and love baking, especially cakes. In fact, I once ran my own cake decorating business. I’m a governor at a local school and, when time allows, I also enjoy catching up with friends over a cuppa or cocktails!
